Designing and Building Hugelkultur Beds

Learn about the Hugelkultur gardening technique which consists of large pieces of organic matter, typically wood, buried for the purpose of longterm, slow release of nutrients, maintaining higher moisture content, and increasing the fungal population of the soil. This is a hands-on workshop! We'll spend a short amount of time in the classroom and then head out to build a hugelkultur bed from start to finish.
