Plants as Teachers: Intuitive Plant Communication

Registration is closed for this event

What can we learn from plants that goes beyond book learning? When we understand the ways plants communicate and interact with their landscape, we can unlock the potential to obtain knowledge directly from the plants themselves. In this class we will discuss some of the science behind plant communication such as chemical signaling and the ecological web, as well as traditional ethnobotanical concepts such as the Medicine Wheel, Doctrine of Signatures, and Trickster medicine.

Please dress appropriately for the outdoors and off trail walking. A pencil and notebook is required.
