Backyard Maple Sugaring

Learn how to harvest sap and make maple syrup in your own backyard!

This class will introduce you to the process of maple sugaring. We will go over a brief history of maple sugaring, equipment needed, tap a tree, and demonstrate how to process the sap in your own backyard.

Come prepared for cold and possibly snowy weather! There will be walking so sturdy walking shoes/boots are recommended. This class is family and child friendly, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is per person, regardless of age.

Class is led by Lizzy and Tyler Echard.

$20/person

*Registration will close 48 hours before the program. 

*All programs are subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances including inclement weather. Participants will receive an email and phone call if there are any program changes or cancellations.  

*Parking is along the field above the farmhouse.
