From nasturtiums and violets to chrysanthemums and squash blossoms. Flowers aren't just for the table, they're for the center of the plate. Learn about some common flowers you may have growing and how to incorporate them into a fun and distinctive feast.

Learn creative ways to incorporate flowers into everyday cooking. Class will be held in our historic summer kitchen. All materials and ingredients will be provided.  To add enjoyment to the evening, this is a BYOB event--bring along your adult beverage of choice (optional). Space is limited; register now!

About the instructor:
Liza Naylor grew up in an international home, eating and learning to cook foods from around the world. This instilled in her a passion for global cuisine: unique ingredients, spices, flavors, and textures.  A certified personal chef, Liza expresses her joy of cooking while meeting the goals of healthy everyday eating and using fresh, local ingredients. She has cooked for York's Farm to City Dinner, the Healthy World Café, and Leg Up Farmers Market. She now shares her talents by leading cooking classes around the region.  Liza believes in the value of community volunteering:  she organizes the York County Food Alliance's "Squash Hunger" and is heading the kitchen for Leg Up Farm's "Farm en Blanc".
