Making Bone Broth

Registration is closed for this event
Collagen-rich and nourishing, bone broth is revered for it's many uses. And it's easier and less expensive to make than you may think. Learn about the how and the why of pressure cookers, instant pots and slow cookers. Sip your way to a whole new world of goodness.

All materials and ingredients will be provided. To add enjoyment to the evening, this is a BYOB event--bring along your adult beverage of choice (optional) and we will be sharing a tasting of what is prepared in the class. Space is limited; register now!

About the instructor:
Liza Naylor grew up in an international home, eating and learning to cook foods from around the world. This instilled in her a passion for global cuisine: unique ingredients, spices, flavors, and textures.  A certified personal chef, Liza expresses her joy of cooking while meeting the goals of healthy everyday eating and using fresh, local ingredients. She has cooked for York's Farm to City Dinner, the Healthy World Café, and Leg Up Farmers Market. She now shares her talents by leading cooking classes around the region.  Liza believes in the value of community volunteering:  she organizes the York County Food Alliance's "Squash Hunger" and is heading the kitchen for Leg Up Farm's "Farm en Blanc".
