On Thursday\, August 13th from 6pm to 8pm\, we're seeking volunteers to help us tend a 12-acre riparian buffer. Hands on the land are critical as we protect water and build back biodiversity on retired farmland wi thout the use of herbicides or large machines. Joi n us to learn about agroforestry\, land restoratio n\, and the local watershed while helping ensure a thriving educational ecosystem for the future.
\n \nDepending on the season\, weather\, avai lable materials\, and number of volunteers\, each riparia n buffer workday entails one or more of the fo llowing tasks:

\n \nThis workday will require minor physical labor including stooping\, pulling\, shoveling\, and sp ending time outside in potentially rainy\, hot\, o r cold conditions. Be prepared for walking on unev en\, possibly muddy terrain.
