 e will review the essentials of foraging including
  plant identification\, terminology\, safety\, med
 icinal and edible uses of plants\, and ethical har
 vest. We will also cover how to process various he
 rbs to prepare them for various medicinal applicat
 ions\, as well as how to store them for future use

 d notebook are recommended. </p>\n \n <p><strong>A
 udience:</strong><br />\n This class is suited for
  learners of all ages. Children under 14 must be a
 ccompanied by an adult and children 8 and under ma
 y attend for free.</p>\n \n <p><strong>Logistics:<
 /strong><br />\n Parking takes place in the field 
 above the farmhouse. Plan to arrive 10 minutes ear
 ly so we can begin the class on time.</p>\n \n <p>

 two. She was born and raised in the mountains of c
 entral Pennsylvania. She sees the human body as an
  ecological microcosm\, and that by reconnecting t
 o the land we can heal the land as well as ourselv
 es. In her practice\, she integrates the long\, ri
 ch history of traditional herbalism with modern\, 
 scientifically sound research. Calyx is a graduate
  of the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism and 
 is the founding director of the Northern Appalachi
