Gardener’s Guide to Weeds: ID and Management

Registration is closed for this event

Knowing and understanding the 'weeds' that share our garden space is the first step in determining how (and if) to manage them. Many plants that we commonly refer to as weeds, play important roles in garden health, give us information about soil quality, contain valuable nutrients and minerals that can be returned to the soil, and some even taste great and can head to the kitchen to feed us as we weed.

Learn to identify common plants of the garden, know when and if to remove them, and how some of them may become valued resources.

This class takes place in the field - Dress for the outdoors and walking in the garden on potentially muddy or uneven ground.
