Hatha style encompasses a wide variety of yoga styles, focusing on the movement aspect of yoga called Asana. You can expect a combination of physical poses, breathing techniques (Pranayama), and meditation in this class. We will be in poses for a few breaths or up to a couple of minutes in order to connect the mind and the body.
Instructor Mimi ensures all her classes are BEGINNER FRIENDLY and feature Pranayama (breathwork) and Meditation. She may incorporate a variety of other styles in the class such as:
- Slow Flow
- Restorative
- Asana Focus-based (Standing poses, Forward Folds, Back Bends, Strength/Flexibility work, etc.)
Props: Mats and props will be available, but feel free to bring your own mat, blocks, strap, blankets, or any other props that make your practice accessible!
About the Instructor: Mimi Livsey
Mimi is a 200 hour Yoga Teacher who has been practicing yoga for over 11 years.
Yoga introduced her into the world of well-being. Because this practice made a huge impact on her life and brought her to where she is today, she was inspired to become an instructor to share yoga with others to hopefully change their lives as well!
Mimi is also a licensed massage therapist of 4 years and energy practitioner of 10 years.

This class will take place outdoors. Please check the weather in advance and dress accordingly. Be prepared for walking on uneven terrain after the sun has set.
