Needle felting is the process of transforming wool fiber into a creative piece.
In this program, we will use nature-themed cookie cutters as templates to create our own felted decorations, perfect for zipper pulls, key chains, air fresheners, pendants, or as accents for other projects. This program will allow us to work fibers with our hands while appreciating the versatilty of natural, locally-sourced materials like sheep's wool, alpaca, and mohair (to name a few), which can all be needled into pleasing, charming artwork.
This project is beginner-friendly and suitable ages 10 and up. Participants under 18 must be registered by an accompanying adult in order to receive materials. Accompanying parents or guardians do not need to register, unless they would like to receive a craft kit of their own. Adults with children may also register under one name and work on a single project together.
In order to procure materials, registration for this program CLOSES at 11:59pm on Sunday, June 15th. Make sure to register early to secure your spot(s)!
So whether you're interested in engaging with fiber crafts, enjoying a creative project with friends and family, or creating a handmade, one-of-a-kind gift for a loved one (or yourself!), join us for this fun, relaxing, and crafty class!
