Summer is a "buzzing" time for the Horn Farm community!
You'll find bees, beetles, butterflies, and more dashing among the blossoms. On this youth-friendly romp through the Horn Farm's demonstration gardens, we'll take a close look at many of the characters of our living landscape, learning about how healthy ecosystems help create healthy food.
Join us to explore questions like: what makes plants happy and healthy? How do plants and insects work together to make our food? Who else can we find living on the farm, and what are their talents? How do people play a role in the ecosystem? And more!
This program is best suited for ages 6 to 12. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
Before or after the tour, don't forget to stick around at the Solstice Market! In addition to selling fresh produce and plant states alongside other local vendors, we'll be offering family-friendly nature activities to connect with the season and the land!
Spaces in our walking tours are limited, so pre-registration is encouraged! This tour is free of charge.
