This month we'll do a general plant walk around the property and look at what is in season. We'll spend some time discussing ecological functions of the plants, general observation skills that are useful to the forager, and see what else arises as we explore the property. Beginners and experienced foragers are welcome.
Come prepared for all weather, to get dirty, wet, and sometimes hot and sticky! This class is family and child friendly, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is per person, regardless of age.
Classes are led by Horn Farm Center Woodland Steward, Wilson Alvarez.
