This year, dozens of volunteers have helped us add four acres and hundreds of trees to our multifunctional riparian buffer. On Saturday, November 5th from 10am-12:30pm, join us in planting a final round of trees before the winter, performing some general upkeep, and (if you're new) learning about our ongoing land restoration project in partnership with the Keystone 10 Million Trees campaign.
Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, dress for the weather, and bring your own water bottle (refills will be available). We have gloves on hand for those who need them, though we ask that participants bring their own gloves. Currently, we only have one regularly-checked porta-potty on the property due to the 2021 house fire, so please plan accordingly.
New Volunteers: please read and sign our Volunteer Waiver and Release Form before your arrival. You can bring a printed, signed copy with you to the event or send a virtual copy to education@hornfarmcenter.org. Physical copies will also be available upon arrival.
