DIY Natural Paintbrushes
For foragers and naturalists alike! Do you enjoy both art and nature? If so, learn how to make your own handmade paintbrush with plants and other natural materials found in the wild and landscaped areas that surround us. In this hands-on class, you will create a paintbrush from plant materials - Yucca for the bristles and cordage to hold it together, and invasive shrubs for the handle. We will also demonstrate how to make paint/ink from walnut hulls and charcoal. Please bring a pocket knife and scissors if possible.
