Meet Kimberly Hogeman – Community Gardener and Horn Farm’s Secretary of the Board of Directors.
Kimberly Hogeman is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Information, Sciences and Technology. Kim has worked for the York County Economic Alliance since 2007. Her other activities include volunteering for the York Chapter of Buy Fresh Buy Local, and membership in the Hellam Township Environmental Advisory Council. She is a very active person and loves to garden, crochet, read, walk, ride her bike, water ski, and spend time on the river!
Since becoming a volunteer for Horn Farm Center, Kim has served on the Education Committee, the Farm-to-City Dinner Committee, and the Summer Kitchen Committee! This busy lady is also Chair of Homesteading Education Day and on the Executive Committee and Education Subcommittee.
This year Kim also has a Community Garden plot and is used her time and energy this past summer to provide produce for the 2014 Farm-to-City Dinner. Horn Farm Center for Agricultural Education is truly fortunate to have another all-around and generous person as a officer on its Board.
