Small, hot peppers are shaped like a chicken’s heart, which is just what the name means. This historic variety has been cultivated since at least as early as the 1880’s. They start out green, ripening in time to a glossy deep red. Used in pickles or for pepper vinegar. This plant is produced by Horn Farm Center.
