Classes: Foraging & Herbs

Enrich your connection with the land through foraging.

To gather wild foods and medicines is only part of the foraging experience. As an activity deeply rooted in our human story, foraging is an invitation to reconnection—with the land, ourselves, and one another.

Like the plants themselves, the Horn Farm’s foraging experiences come in a variety of shapes and sizes, outlined below. All programs offer foundational learning for beginners while welcoming experienced folks who are looking to expand their practice. Topics include plant observation and identification, ecological context, safety, respectful harvest and preparation, and ways to give back to the land through tending and gratitude. We hope you can join us to celebrate the bounty through hands-on learning and fun on the land!
