Wild & Uncommon Weekend Guide

Plan Your Wild & Uncommon Weekend!

September 18 – 21, 2025

Wild & Uncommon Weekend celebrates local foods, makers, and outdoor experiences across the Lower Susquehanna Region, including the iconic pawpaw fruit that calls the riverlands home.

Like the pawpaw, Wild & Uncommon Weekend is an invitation to connect with the land, the people, and the one-of-a-kind experiences of this incredible (bio)region. Entering it’s second year in 2025, the Weekend is an extension of the long-running York County Pawpaw Festival at the Horn Farm Center.

Wild & Uncommon Weekend is made possible by local businesses and nonprofits who partner with the Horn Farm Center to take the spirit of the Pawpaw Festival into the wider landscape, showcasing the diverse ecosystem of tastes, makers, and nature-based activities that capture local living in the Lower Susquehanna.

Whether you’re seeking family-friendly fun, connection with the land, or foods and crafts that reflect this place, Wild & Uncommon Weekend has something to offer you!
