Horn Farm Happenings – July 21

Cycle the SolsticePlease join us in thanking the crew at The Cycle Works bicycle shop in Wrightsville. This year’s Cycle the Solstice on June 24 brought in over $3000 to support the educational offerings we hold here at the Horn Farm Center. Thank you!

Coming up this week: Cooking with Eggplant and Preserving Herbs. There’s still room for a few more people!

On Tuesdays, we could use your help on the farm. From 4 to 7, join our extraordinary farmhand, Tyler Miller, as he harvests, weeds, and mulches. Come for all or part of the evening, but please register here so we know whom to expect. Thanks!

This past week we welcomed a new class of 15 who are Exploring the Small Farm Dream here at the Horn Farm. This three-week Penn State Extension class sells out quickly. Another class will be offered this fall. For more information, please contact Extension Educator Winifred McGee at wwm1@psu.edu or by calling (717) 921-8803.
