We are ready to celebrate the long-awaited completion of renovations to our summer kitchen! Join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:15 on Wednesday, November 9. Then stay to tour the summer kitchen, learn about its history, and sample goodies baked in the wood fired squirrel tail oven.
The summer kitchen is now fully functional while honoring the historical integrity of the original kitchen. It will be the site of food preservation workshops, educational classes, demonstrations, and food safety courses. It will also allow for value added products to be produced by participants in the Horn Farm Center’s Incubator Farm Program.
