Thanks so much to everyone who shared and gave last Friday during the Give Local York event! What a wonderful day of fundraising it was for York County– a record for the event and a record for us, too. We very much appreciate you and look forward to seeing you soon!

We have re-opened the online store! Vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers are available to purchase online. Plant orders placed by Friday at 10:00 a.m. will be ready for self-serve pick up at the farm on Saturday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

First of all – thanks so much for all of the support with our online plant sale! You can still order through Saturday, April 25 – Plant Sale Pre-Sales. We have more than 450 orders that we need to collate, organize, and get ready for curb-side pick-up.

It’s a rather large undertaking – please be patient with us.

Your pick-up day and time are based on the first letter of your last name as follows:
Last Name Starts with: Pick-Up Date & Time
A-C Thursday, April 30: 9:00-11:00
D-H Thursday, April 30: 11:30-1:30
I-L Thursday, April 30: 2:00-4:00
M-Q Friday, May 1: 9:00-11:00
R-S Friday, May 1: 11:30-1:30
T-Z Friday, May 1: 2:00-4:00

If the above time slot doesn’t work, we’ll have remaining orders available for self-serve pick-up starting Monday, May 4th. We’d like to distribute as many orders as possible on Thursday and Friday, so please pick up according to the above if you are able.

We will be doing curbside pick-up – No need to exit vehicles. Give us your name and we will retrieve your order, place it in your trunk or back seat for you.
In order to adhere to current Pennsylvania state requirements for essential businesses, please wear a mask over your mouth and nose during the pick-up.

We will reopen the store the first week of May with whatever plants we have left to sell.

June to October – Horn Farm CSA (Sold out for 2020)
Horn Farm is also a pick up location for meat, egg, and mushroom shares from Rising Locust Farm.
Rising Locust also has pickup locations in Manheim and Lancaster.
For chicken and other meats Mirror Image Farms has pick up locations in Millersville, Bainbridge, and Lancaster.

This year all sales will happen online before the sale. You can order now through Saturday, April 25. We will spend the days following the 25th packing your orders and will have them ready for pick up on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1. We’ll be organizing the pick up times by last name. More details to come. We will reopen the store the first week of May with whatever plants we have left to sell.

We restocked some plants in the store this week, so even if you already placed an order, you might want to check back in. If you have multiple orders, we will combine them before you pick up.

Currently, we have one more online class scheduled, and we are working on offering you more. If there are any topics in particular that you would like to see, please let us know!!
