Horn Farm Happenings – September 1

It’s hard to believe that it is September already! The days are a little cooler and we are putting fall crops in the ground. Our CSA share holders still have more than two months of vegetables coming their way. If you’re not a shareholder (or even if you are), you can buy produce grown at the Horn Farm at our farm stand Saturday mornings from 9 to noon. If you want an even bigger selection, order online by Thursday at noon to pick up Saturday morning.
The pawpaws are coming! We will be celebrating by holding a Pawpaw Festival at the Horn Farm on September 23 and 24.

The sweet corn is here! Just picked, organically grown, non-GMO sweet corn will be for sale at the Horn Farm Farm Stand from 9 to noon this Saturday, August 26. We’ll also have potatoes, green beans, tomatoes, cantaloupe, watermelon, onions, fresh cut flower bouquets, and more!
It’s a beautiful time to be on the farm! If you can, please visit us on Saturday, August 19th. The morning’s activities include a 1-hour farm tour at 10 am. Meet at the corn barn (small barn). Produce will be available from at our Farm Stand until noon.
