In addition to growing your own vegetables, you can grow your own mushrooms! Join William Padilla-Brown for an afternoon of Low Tech Mushroom Cultivation. Learn how to grow mushrooms with materials you probably already have around the house. This workshop includes classroom based instruction as well as hands-on exercises in various types of low-tech mushroom cultivation – suitable for beginners as well as experienced individuals. This class fills quickly, so register today!

Join us for Raising Insects for Food and Farm! Learn to work with aquatic, subterranean, terrestrial, and flying invertebrates for composting and pest management, as well as food for fish, animals, and, yes, humans!
